Texas Smoked Salsa
Smoked salsa with fresh ingredients! This beats store bought salsa everyday!

- 6 Roma Tomatoes Cut in Half
- 1 Whole Onion Cut in Quarters
- 3 Jalapenos
- 1 Poblano Pepper
- 1 Blub of Whole Garlic
- 1/2 Lime Juice
- 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 Tbsp Salt and Pepper Each
- 1/2 Bunch Cilantro
Turn smoker on to 300 degrees.
Add all your vegetables, besides the cilantro and lime, to a baking sheet.
Coat with vegetable oil, oregano,salt, and pepper.
Place in the smoker for 2 hours.Tossing everything at the 1-hour mark.
Once everything looks nice and roasted. Pull from smoker and let rest for five minutes.
De-Skin and pull stems from all your peppers. If you want a mild salsa de-seed them as well.
Place everything in a blender including the cilantro and lime juice. Blend to desired texture. Taste and adjust seasonings.
