- 12 oz evaporated milk
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2 Tbsp strawberry syrup
Cake Topping:
- 1 8 oz tub whipped cream
- 1 lb fresh strawberries diced
- 1 cup white chocolate chips melted
Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the strawberry cake mix box. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the eggs, melted butter, and milk. Mix well.
Add the strawberry cake mix to the wet ingredients. Use a hand mixer to blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
Fold in the processed freeze-dried strawberries and white chocolate chips.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish. Bake according to the directions on the cake mix box.
Once baked, let the cake cool for 10-15 minutes. Use a fork to poke holes all over the cake.
In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and strawberry syrup to make the tres leches mixture.
Slowly pour the tres leches mixture over the cake, one cup at a time, ensuring it soaks in completely. Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
The next day, spread whipped cream evenly over the cake. Top with diced strawberries and drizzle with melted white chocolate.
