Ingredients
  

  • 14 maple link sausages
  • 2 cans honey butter croissant rolls
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup cinnamon creamer or heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste or extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1-2 Tbsp Powder Sugar
  • Extra Maple Syrup

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
  • Cook the sausages according to package instructions until almost done. Set aside to cool.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, creamer (or heavy whipping cream), nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup.
  • Roll out the croissant dough with the wide end facing you.
  • Brush the inside of each croissant with the French toast mixture using a pastry brush.
  • Place one sausage link on the wide end of each croissant.
  • Roll the dough around the sausage to form a pig in a blanket.
  • Brush the tops of the rolled croissants with more French toast mixture.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
